My dream goal is to lose about 30-50 pounds, grow out my hair, work on props and costume to some day bring Lu Lu from the Final Fantasy series to life.

So far my hair is growing out quite nicely. Its been a little over 2 years (almost 3) since I started growing it out.

^^^ May 2012. Recent. :) Its longer when down of course. More past my shoulders now.

I have also been fighting my acne as well. Doesn’t help my harmones have been sending me through a loop. But, I have been using Skin ID for almost a year now and I noticed (when I actually keep up with it) it has been making my face a lot better! So another check to the list.

Next is Losing the Weight… I’ve been struggling so hard with that. I went and even saw a nutritionist. She did help me and I noticed I had lost between 10-15 pounds! But then I shot back up close to the weight I first saw her at, she was a little upset. Its not eating thats my problem really, its being active and actually doing stuff I need to work on. I get tired from work and school and have no energy to work out. Well hopefully now that I am VERY SICK and VERY TIRED of being like this, plus I want to reach my goal in time, I have been trying to carefully tackle the problem.

I have been eating better. Trying to ~~force~~ sneak in veggies into my meals. I have also been drinking a lot more water and been trying to stay away from soda. I haven’t paid too much to my weight because the last time I checked I was ashamed of myself. Sooooo I went out and got myself wrist and ankle weights AND a Shake Weight. Go ahead and laugh but the little bugger works! Well, when I follow the DVD anyways. After I’m done with that thing my arms are killin. I’ve also been trying to make an effort of using my Boflex again and attempt going on walks more. So far I feel pretty good about myself. :)

HOPEFULLY I’ll lose the weight by sometime 2013 that way I can work on the costume. (When I’m down to my goal weight I can make the costume to that current body frame ;D ) If I’m no where close or haven’t exactly reached it yet then I would put it on hold and work on all the props. But I would like the costume done by 2013 or early 2014 before AB that year.

If the worse happens then I push everything to AB 2015 (the latest!!!)

I’d like to also mention that THIS is not my main reason for losing weight. I’ve been struggling to lose weight since High School. Now that I’m a bit older, words of the Dr’s scare me more and my own actions have made me fear the Dr’s outcomes. I’m losing the weight because I should and I want to. Its just a bonus kicker for me to get pushed in a direction of awesomeness! I love to cosplay and would very much like to make this perfect! Chears to the hopes I will succeed with this goal!

The carnival was in town last night and I went with 2 friends. My boyfriend was very nice to drive us in and I greatly appreciated him doing that. (even though he wanted nothing to do with the carnival in the first place). We got there at 7 and there was about a small group of maybe 10 people already waiting. I dressed up in my new lolitta dress and wore my red contacts. I got a lot of good comments on my dress, contacts and my pikachu bag. A woman, who looked to have been a mom/aunt who was probably dragged along because of the kids, flipped on my contacts and kept constantly wanting to take a pic but couldn’t figure the camera on the phone out. It was fun. We talked, made some friends, walked around to find public bathrooms; it was a good time.

By 8 they separated the Ring Masters from the Sinners/Carnies because they had special access of getting in first and talking with Darren Lynn Bousman (Director: SAW 2-4, REPO! The Genetic Opera, The Devil’s Carnival) and Terrance Zdunich (Producer, Writer, Actor: REPO! T.G.O., The Devils Carnival). :P They still had to wait about 40 min though. After they got in, this guy Spooky was running around checking our tickets. If you were a carnie you got a poster. When they finally finished going through everyone we were able to go in around 9:10.

My friends and I got pretty good seats. :) we were only a couple rows back from center stage. Once everyone was filed in they started with a side show. Charlotte Be Good? I believe that was her name. She did a bit of a tease strip, playing with whips, and throwing blades at balloons. We then watched Behind the scenes of REPO! The Genetic Opera. They were scenes that I at least never seen before and it was really cool! After that they had a costume contest where people who dressed up came on stage and people cheered. Believe it or not but Repo Man won HAHAH. Also, before the movie started Bousman and Zdunich came out on stage, made us stand and pledge an oath about not video taping/taking pictures of anything. And that if someone next to us did we would punch them in the dick/vagina and oh, Hail Satan :)

My personal opinion on the movie was… it was good! It wasn’t as great as REPO! though. It started off with 3 people, I’m assuming all happening at the same time, where they were all doing something… One man locked himself in a bathroom, very upset, his wife (?) on the other side of the door trying to get in, we see him reach for the razor and he begins cutting himself. A woman is seen running into a trailer. She has a bunch of jewels all over her table and shes trying them all on. But then the police showed telling her to come out on the count of 3. At the same time another woman was trying to run away from her “boy friend”. He was apologizing about something and making promises and asking her to come out of the car. When she refused the man pulled out a gun and also gave her to the count of 3. Once the count was over we hear a deep evil sounding voice finish the count and everything became warped. The woman in the trailer experienced carnies and confetti. The young girl’s car become clouded by frost and there was an appearance of a man coming towards the car. As for the Father, he saw a devilish figure in the mirror and his son was with him. They were all dragged down to hell and when they awoke they all found letters with tickets to THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL.

It was fast paced. I believe it was only an hour long. Everything seemed thrown at one another and I never really had the chance to figure stuff out in time. I got the basic idea of what was going on. I thought it was very interesting how Luci was telling Aesop’s Fables to represent the 3 sinners stories. I recognized the Dog and His Reflection (or in the movies case, Her Reflection). I believe I’ve heard of The Scorpion and the Frog before. And the Devil and his Due was new to me. I can’t seem to find the story anywhere.

There was also a handful of special guests (Taken from the site): “THE DEVIL’S CARNIVAL stars Victoriandustrial rocker Emilie Autumn, Dayton Callie (Sons Of Anarchy, Deadwood), M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan (of the Grammy award winning, cult metal giants Slipknot), Briana Evigan (Step Up 2), Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints), Maggie “Captain Maggots” Lally and The Blessed Contessa (of The Bloody Crumpets), J LaRose (Insidious), Jessica Lowndes (90210), Mighty Mike Murga (of Mini Kiss), internet star Hannah Minx, Ivan Moody (of the chart-topping heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch), Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), Ogre (of the legendary industrial band Skinny Puppy), Marc Senter (The Lost), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), Alexa Vega (Spy Kids), and Terrance Zdunich (Repo! The Genetic Opera).”

All in All the experience was amazing. I enjoyed the line, I got a limited signed copy of the soundtrack, I enjoyed the side shows and previews. I greatly enjoyed the movie! At the end they had a Q&A with Bousman, Zdunich and another man whos name escapes me, and it was amazing. I asked the first question about when TDC will be on dvd. They aswered they were in the process of working on that and that they are trying to make it special. They want to add stuff to it where you WOULD HAVE TO HAVE AND WANT IT. So they said roughly 3-6 months. I liked how they also mentioned that they want people to enjoy going to the movies again and doing it will fellow people who share your interests. ;)

A man who mentioned himself and his lovely girl friend have been fans for a long time. They recently had a baby and named her Shilo after the lead female character from REPO! The Genetic Opera. They also just got Repo! and Devils Carnival tats done. He was brought up stage and was explaining this. Then he asked his girlfriend up. He explains he wanted to ask one more question. He turned to his girl, got down on one knee and whipped out a ring and Proposed. She started crying but the crowd was in such a positive up roar I guess she said yes and everyone went crazy happy for them! It was beautiful. I hope if they have any tour stuff on the DVD I really hope that makes it on there.

When we got back to the Q&A they kept passing a bottle around and sharing the drink between the 3. At some point a girl asked to hug Zdunich. She was on the balcony though so while she was coming down they answered another question. In the middle of answering it though that girl ran up stage and quickly hugged him. She had her face down low though and kept it down, but smiling very big while walking away. Shortly after another girl said, “Well since there has been a lot of touching and DNA swapping and someone else hugged you, Can I kiss you Terrance?” (words from what I can remember) He laughed and covered his face, without saying anything I believe Bousman said YAH COME UP! And Zdunich kept laughing and turning red. The girl comes up and it was a little shaky at first but then they went in for the kiss and it looked like a good one. Oh man, such a good night.

One last thing from the Q&A, someone asked all three what there second deepest darkest secret was. Reason for it was because the second is usually more interesting. Zdunich replies with “I masturbate to crime files!”. Bousman’s wife (who had a busted leg and had to crawl on stage) answered for him and said, “He exfoliates like a mother fucker! He has face creams and lotions from all over the country and constantly takes care of his face”. Everyone laughed and loved the answers. They get to the third guy and he said he couldn’t exactly think of one. Someone from the crowd shouts out “HE EXFOLIATES TO CRIME FILES!” After he was done laughing he explained to the one who asked “Ill come to you in your dreams and tell you privately!”

It was just a great time and everything keeps replaying in my head. I wish to have gone and met Bousman and Zdunish but the line grew huge fast, I was tired and had to pee so I said eff that and tried to hint we should leave to my friends. We listened to the soundtrack on the way home and it was very good. Such a good night!

Manga Class was a Success!

Had a fantastic time today!!! I was a little unprepared considering I scanned what I wanted copies of but never made it to Staples. I was on my way and the Art Studio was also on the way. As I got closer to the studio I realized I would end up running late. I didn’t want to do that. I gave up and went straight to the studio to set up.

7 people showed up. I was surprised in the turnout. Only 3 of them were in the specific age range I posted. 2 were an older couple of maybe 50’s or up. 1 was 9 (I think) and the other 10. But I really didn’t mind! I loved the fact they came anyways.

We all had a great time. I showed off my old artwork, New work, explained a brief history about myself and manga, started drawing and walked around to view and help any questions. I also bought yan-yan and kool-aids for our snack break.

By the end of it, pretty much everyone plus the parents that came for the kids all asked if I will be teaching more. I explained to them I would love to and to speek with the owner of the store since she is the one in charge of making the classes. They did go to her and gave her feedback.

ALSO, My red contacts came in today so I plopped them in before and have had them on all day. :) I love them!

I plan to have more classes in the future and hope to have just as much fun. It was a great rush and a nice ego boost to help me keep going!

Next Saturday, March 31st, I will be hosting a How To Draw Manga Workshop! I have been informed that only 1 person has signed up. I was also informed that most of the times people sign up last min. DON’T BE LAST MIN!!! Its only a 3 hour workshop, one day, 1pm - 4pm, in Marlborough Ma, 12-17 year olds, and for only $15!!!

ALSO, If we get a good turn out and more people are interested in more lessons, I am trying to speak with the owner about having summer classes that go for either 6-8 weeks. But we need to know who’s interested to even get anywhere close to thinking about doing summer classes.

If you know someone who is interested, please inform them and let them know!

I am part of this sweet group called Halloween Haven.

Almost 3 years ago I was invited by 3 of my friends to join them in something they called “Halloween Haven”. They had made a myspace and explained to me that they dress up, go out in public and share their love of Halloween. I loved the idea and immediately joined! Slowly we were getting more friends to join and started making more executive decisions.

We had a Great Pumpkin (leader), The Wee Squash(2nd in command), Death Note (The one to write everything down that we discuss) and the Devils Seamstress (me, the one to organize when to get materials and when to set up dates to sew/craft outfits together.

Unfortunately, our Wee Squash became busy with the outside world. They wanted to focus on working up the ladder at their job. Which is understandable so they left. Our Death Note became busy themselves and I became Death’s Assistant (write notes for the DN). Shortly I became Death Note 2. Our group was slowly shrinking but we held strong. Eventually I became leader of the group. I made a Facebook group and became in charge what was posted and when meetings will be. I also created the Deviant Art Page xHalloween-Havenx and our Tumblr Page Halloween Haven Club.

We used to have lots of event parties but they ended badly do to drama and those who were “outsiders” to the group. We set down strict rules that have been proving to work very well. They are no longer called “parties”. The group came to the conclusion that the word gave those the wrong impression and tried to have more adult theme parties where we wanted to have kid friendly fun times. They have been now changed to “Innings” Or “Gatherings” if it is a personal close event at one’s home. Whenever we travel to malls or outside events we call them “Outings”.

As mentioned in “Change of Life Plans”, I am now focusing more on the group. I would like to make it a non-profit but have recently hit a brick wall and need to rethink what I want with the group. We focus on Halloween and we want to be kid based and friendly. We dress up all year round and have outings and innings with themes. We are trying to go for more set themes and perhaps change them up once in a while. After making more set rules and plans the group seems to be working out quite well. But I would like to do more. I’m now stuck with what to do.

Change of Life Plans

Not going back to the New England Institute of Art. It was too expensive and stressed me out. I switched my major at Quinsig so I can atleast graduate with an art degree. I’ll be using art as a side gig.

My major goal is to focus on Halloween Haven and make it big. I want us to be a non profit organization and target the group towards kids. I have big plans for the group and I really want them to come true.

“I’m ganna break this fire hydrent open so I can cool the fuck down.” he laughs after.

“Are you fucking insane?! Thats illegal, you’ll get in trouble!”

“My trucks over there”

I look down my street to see he parked a huge truck infront of my house.

“What the fuck?”

He started laughing more and I just shook my head as my dream continued elsewhere.

I try to keep a pale complexion because it makes me feel prettier.

By having pale skin I feel like a doll. I already have the dark hair and eyes so if I have the dark skin I feel as though it would “clash” ;) haha

No, I don’t think I’m a vampire. I just like having pale skin and do what ever I can to keep it that way. This means staying out of the sun, stay in cool areas.

I have noticed being pale has its down side. Such as being in light/sun for 5 min I turn red and gain more freckles. Getting embarrassed or over heated I turn pink/dark red in seconds.

I blame my fathers side because my ethnic background from years ago are from a good chunk of Europe. I simplify it by telling people that I’m American with a bit of Euromutt.

I hate the sound of people chewing food/gum with their mouths open (sometimes even when they’re shut). If I can hear it, it’s as if everything else around me shuts out except for that sound. It drives me batty!

Years ago (I believe is where the root of this problem has started) I had a manner kick going and I would try to sit more proper at a table, say excuse me, no elbows, pinky out, no slurping, mouth shut and etc. My older and younger sisters would sit hunched over, sitting on their legs and faces in their food. Constantly chomping and slurping. I always yelled at them, told them its not proper and “What if you were eating with the Queen of England?” speech.

Over the years I just never liked the sound. But for some reason in the past 2 years the sound has been getting more increasingly bothersome! I’ve ran up to my room slamming my arms into my desk just because my dad was eating popcorn and cookies loud. I’ve broken pens and pencils because the kid behind me was chewing their gum so loud in class. I’ve been having a sort of involuntary arm spasms. The longer I hear the sound it starts to build up inside me and I start twitching and wanting to move my arms about.

I’ve lashed out at family so far pleading for them to stop! They look at me like I’m mad. They tell me I’m rude and nasty. Sometimes I try asking in a nice tone. “Can you please stop chewing with your mouth open.” or “I’m sorry, I really can’t stand the sound of someone chewing.” Or whatever I say. When you read it or hear it, yeah, okay it is kinda rude. But how else am I suppose to say it? How else am I suppose to word it? Am I suppose to let it keep bothering me?

I’ve mention the same thing to friends and they seem to get it and they have been kind enough to not do it or they’ve even spat the gum out.

All in all, I really hate and can’t stand the sound. It makes my skin crawl and I want to smash things. I’m pretty sure this isn’t healthy but I have been trying to make the step of letting people know I can’t stand the sound.

Other sounds that make me upset include: Kissing, low whispering, Sexual sounds, Multiple tv’s/radios/musik playing at the same time, constant obnoxious noises, banging and loud sounds.

Things are starting to get interesting...

As a new way of getting things out there, I will be giving out Epik Fun Facts every day. Or I should say 1 fact a day. There isn’t any real goal besides getting stuff out there I guess. I always keep to myself and now I believe its overwhelming me by keeping it all in. So now I will give a fact about myself everyday on different social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Here! I’ve posted 1 so far and it gave me so many ideas on what to post and it made me feel good about sharing them. I might eventually share very personal stuff but for now I’ll just share what I want and such… Let it begin!
